Zigmantas Mockus Obituary
MOCKUS
At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Monday, August 21, 2006, Zigmantas Mockus of Rodney, in his 95th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Liudvika; son Vic and his wife Elaine of Ottawa. Predeceased by his son Zigmantas (1998).
He was born in Lithuania, where he graduated as a veterinarian. He emigrated to Rodney in 1950 from where he commuted to the United States to practice, later returning to the area where he farmed with his wife and family retiring in 1986.
The Mockus family will receive friends at the Rodney Chapel on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. where prayers will be offered at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass at St. Mary's Church, West Lorne on Friday, August 25th at 11:00 am.
Fr. J. Kaknevicius celebrant. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
