Witold "Vic" Arnold Schneider

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Witold (Vic) Arnold Schneider, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Four Counties Hospital on June 3, 2026, in his 90th year.
Vic was born on October 10, 1936, in Alytus, Lithuania. His early life took him between Lithuania and Germany before he immigrated to Canada in 1947, arriving at Pier 21—a gateway to new beginnings. Through determination, resilience, and hard work, he built a life and legacy for his family in Canada.
Vic was a successful and highly skilled tobacco farmer, respected for his dedication, knowledge of the land, and strong work ethic. He took great pride in his work and the life he cultivated for those he loved.
Beyond farming, Vic had a deep passion for music. He played the trumpet for years with the Starlighters, sharing his talent and bringing joy to many through his performances.
Above all, his greatest pride and joy was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Nancy; his children, Larry (Laurie), Brian (Lori), and Rene (Chris); and his cherished grandchildren, Amanda (Mat), Amy, Logan (Heidi), and Nolan, who were truly the apple of his eye. He will also be dearly missed by his great-grandchildren, Maxim and Grace, who brought him immense joy. Vic is also survived by his brother, Reinhard and many nieces and nephews. 
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance at Arn Funeral Home, 212 Furnival Road, Rodney on Sunday June 7, 2026. A Masonic Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by visitation at 12:30 p.m.  The funeral service to commence at 2:30 p.m.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
