Peacefully, at The Village Retirement Residence in Ridgetown on Friday, September 15th, 2006. William Edward "Bud" Ford formerly of Duart in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife Irene (Hall) 2000.
Lovingly remembered by his sons Ronald of Stratford, Stanley of Duart and Gary (Barb) of Windsor and daughters Marilyn Fleck (Robert) of Uniopolis, Ohio, Nancy Lelievre (Paul) of Windsor and Jennie Sawyer of Alvinston. Bud will be sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Harvey. Predeceased by his parents Dougald (1946) and Jennie (1976), son Allen (1975), grandson Kevin Sawyer (1997), great grandson Elijah Fleck (1997), son in law Doug Sawyer (1999), brothers Stanley, Irvine, Norman and Calvin and sister Jean Doran.
Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Sunday, September 17th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Monday at 11 am. Rev. T. Godfrey officiating. Interment Duart cemetery.
