At the St Thomas Elgin General Hospital December 3, 2022  Wendy   Ann Doran in her 81st year.  Dearly loved mother of Carolyn   [Wayne] Young, Julie [Bob] Wade, Christine [Greg] Tomczyk and   David Doran.  She will be missed by her 12 grandchildren and her   23 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Robert [Sue] Barber.  Wendy was a very accomplished, self   taught woman.  Wendy was involved in the Girl Guides, The West   Elgin Dramatics Society, Volunteer Fire Fighter, first woman   Volunteer Fire Fighter in Canada,  Superintendent of St John's   Ambulance, Training Ambulance Attendant, PSW and she was awarded   by the Governor the St John's Serving Sister Award.  Up until  the time of Al Kahnt's passing, she was his care giver.   Family  and  Friends will be welcomed at Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton  St  Dutton N0L 1J0 [519-762-2416] on Saturday for a visitation  12:00  - 2:00 pm where the Celebration of Life will be held at  2:00 pm.   Interment in Fairview Cemetery.  In memory of Wendy  the family  appreciates donations being left to the Dutton/  Dunwich Fire  Fighters Association.
