Peacefully at St.Thomas -Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, July 29,2006. Vida Pearl Phipps ( Edwards ) of Wallacetown in her 73 year. Vida served her community by volunteering at the Dutton Public School for many years.
Sadly missed by her husband Nelson and their children Steven Phipps and wife Melanie of Talbotville, Ellen Cadotte and husband Gordon of Courtland, Sharron Phipps of Courtland , Julie Phipps of Port Stanley and Peggy Cooke and husband Jeffrey of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Christine, Timothy , Richard, Robbyn, Eric, Adam, Jessica, Jennica. and great grandmother of Arianna and Madison.
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Monday, July 31,2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Tuesday at 1pm with Rev. Diane McPherson of Wallacetown United Church officiating.
Cremation. Interment at Tryconal Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, memorial contributions to the Cancer Society or Diabetes Association as your expression of sympathy would be appreciated.
