Stan Duncanson

We are saddened to announce the passing of Stanley Alexander Duncanson of Dutton, on August 25, 2020 in his 96th year.He was a loving and devoted husband to his late wife Madeline Duncanson for almost 50 years. Dear Uncle to Jim (Laura) MacDonald, Beth (Stan Sims) MacDonald, Paul (Kim) MacDonald.Predeceased by his Sister, Helen Duncanson and Parents, Elsie and Alexander Duncanson Stan was a faithful member and served as an Elder of Duff Presbyterian Church Largie for many years. Stan was a dedicated member of the Independent Order of Oddfellow’s for over 67 years.Stan was a past president of Wallacetown Agricultural Society and past president of the Ontario  Association of Agricultural Societies and organized and called the races for many years at the local Fairs. He was very involved in the Community for many years. Stan will be remembered dearly by several Cousins, Friends and Neighbours. We would like to thank the staff at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their help, support and compassion over the past few months. In memory of Stan donations may be left to Duff Presbyterian Church Largie or Wallacetown Agriculture Society. A Graveside Service to honour Stan’s life will be held Thursday August 27, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
