Peacefully, at Bobier Villa, Dutton on Wednesday, November 15th, 2006. Sophia Irene Theresa Gal (Klimaszewska) of Dutton and formerly of Rodney, age 77. Sophia was a caregiver and volunteer to many people and services. She will be remembered by those whose lives she has touched.
Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her husband George, daughters Ruth Ann Gal and David Hahn of Ft. Smith, NWT, Lois Mezenberg and Monica Pelcz of West Lorne. Loving grandmother of Allan Mezenberg, Anson Mezenberg, David Mezenberg, Amanda Pelcz and Ryan Pelcz and great grandmother of Megan, Nathan, Joshua, Cheyenne and Caleb. Survived by her sisters Mary (Walter) Lazaruk and Judy Krupa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son David Emerson (1961), her grandson Kyle Pelcz (1987), brother Ziggy Klimaszewski and his wife Cil and brother in law Bill Krupa.
Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel, 212 Furnival Rd. on Sunday, November 19th, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Monday at 11 am. Pastor S. Patterson officiating. Interment Rodney Cemetery.
