SCHEELE, Salomon (Ron)
March 22, 1961- June 5, 2021
Ron went to be with His Lord and Saviour after a valiant battle with cancer. He fought the good fight. His mission statement was to love God passionately, be a good father and Opa and serve his church and community. He was a visionary and enjoyed his life on the farm and involvement with the dairy farming community. He inspired and taught many about the joy of serving others and the power of Christ’s forgiveness.
Salomon (Ron) Scheele was born March 22, 1961 in Winsum, the Netherlands. His best friend was his caring wife of 37 years, Corrie (Reyneveld) Scheele. He is the oldest son of David & Nellie (de Bruyne) Scheele and immigrated to Canada in 1981. Dear Dad and Opa to Annika & Marcel Steen; Jasmine, Alex, Emilie, Jace and Juliette, David & Kristen Scheele; Sierra and Kyla, Janelle & Steve Markvoort; Ariya, Devon, Sam, and Ivy, Suzie & Dennis Steen; Korianna, Aleena, Zoe and Eva, Grada & Mark Caughell; Gracie, Brody and Summer. Beloved brother of Hans & Jantje Scheele and Jacqueline Scheele of Oldekerk, the Netherlands. Loved brother in law to Nellie & Gerry De Wit, Klaas & Grace Reyneveld, Jack & Wendy Reyneveld, Piet & Ann Van Den Boogaard, Geri Bourdeau & Tim Wood. Ron had many nieces and nephews who are loved and appreciated.
The family wants to express gratefulness for all the love, care and support from friends, neighbours, health caregivers and the church community. It has been a “warm blanket in the storm”.
There will be a private interment at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Fingal.
