Ruby Forshner Obituary
FORSHNER
At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, April 29th, 2007. Ruby Swain Forshner (Crabbe) of Dutton and formerly of West Lorne in her 101st year. Ruby is predeceased by her husband Charley Swain (1975) and her husband Herman Forshner who passed away just 4 days ago. Ruby was a longtime member of the West Lorne United Church. Together with her husband Charley, they operated Swain Greenhouses, Eagle for many years.
Lovingly remembered by her sons Larry and Donna Swain of Elora, Ray (2003) and Trudy Swain of Grand Bend, Darryl and Sue Swain of RR#2 West Lorne, Bruce and Jeannie Swain of RR#3 Rodney and Dennis and Doreen Swain of London. Ruby will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Tracy (1997) and her sister Edna Whitehead (2001).
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Tuesday, May 1st, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm.
Interment Love cemetery. Pastor S. Patterson officiating.
