Rose Marie (De Graw) Paton

Peacefully at the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin, with her family by her side, Rose Marie Paton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Gord Paton (2005). Loved by her family - daughter Wendy (Rob), late son Jim (2005) and her grandchildren Sean (Nicole), Natasha (Matt) and her great granddaughter Ellie along with her grand dog Luna. Rose is survived by her sister Audrey McCann, brother Jim DeGraw and brother Russ DeGraw along with many nieces and nephews, lifetime friends and Mitsy, her beloved cat. Predeceased by her parents and brothers Peter DeGraw, Joe DeGraw, Emerson DeGraw and sisters Pat Lilley and Marge Corsaut. Rose will be remembered by her family and friends for her big smile and contagious laugh, her love for animals, both pets and strays, her beautiful gardens and the ever friendly hellos to friends, neighbours and everyone passing by. 

All are welcome to join the family for visitation at Arn Funeral Home in Dutton on Thursday October 9th from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral will be held at 2:00pm at Arn Funeral Home in Dutton, on Friday October 10, 2025 with a graveside service following at Fairview Dutton Cemetery and lunch will be provided at Duff Presbyterian Church, Largie. Donations in memory of Rose may be left to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin or Animal Aide, St. Thomas-Elgin.
