Ronald Paul Ripley

August 2, 1950-March 7, 2020 (age 69)

Ronald Paul Ripley, beloved husband, father, and grandfather of  West Lorne, Ontario passed peacefully in his sleep at St. Thomas  Elgin General Hospital on 7 March 2020, aged 69 years.   He is survived by his devoted wife Janet (nee Paton), and loving  sons, Benjamin, John (Sheriel), and Jeffery (Ana). Ronald was a  proud grandpa to twin grandsons, Tristan and Aiden.  He is predeceased by his parents Murray and Violet (nee Shaw).  Also predeceased by brothers, Bruce and Charles (Aurilla). He is  survived by siblings David (Sharon), Kenneth (Sheila-deceased),  Faith (Ron-deceased), and Gayle (Pat).
Ron was dedicated to his family and Christian faith and was a man who enjoyed living life, listening to music, and fellowship with friends. Ron was a long-time trucker and motorcycle enthusiast  who knew his way around just about anywhere. He was known to try  his hand at playing the banjo, bass, and mandolin as well as  dabbling in saddle making. He was a "cowboy at heart."
Much appreciation goes to the health care community who supported Ron through this journey.
A Celebration of Ron's life is planned for a later date.  Arn Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
