Peacefully on March 26, 2019 at St Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Robert Charles Simms in his 90th year. Son of the late Sarah and Harry Simms. Beloved husband of the late Elsie [Warkentin] Simms, who predeceased him in 2007. Sadly missed by dear friend Aileen. Beloved father of Curtis [Betty Anne], Lori FitzGerald [Don]. Predeceased by son David Simms [2008]. Loving Grandfather to Deanna Simms [Wacey], Brandon FitzGerald [Benita] and Nathan FitzGerald [Amanda]. Great Grandfather to Wylan. Predeceased by Granddaughter Kelsie and Grandson Ryan. Also predeceased by his sister Eileen. Fondly remembered by many friends and family. Relatives and friends will be received at Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton [519-762-2416], Saturday April 6 from 1-3 pm. Cremation has taken place. At Bob's request a service of interment and committal will follow at Tyrconnell Cemetery.
