Peacefully, with his wife Elaine by his side, at St Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Saturday January 10, 2026, Robert “Bob” Gray. Life partner and best friend of Elaine for 45 years. Loving father of Jessica (Jordan), Rebecca (Chris), Vanessa (Mike), Melissa (Alex). Dearly loved by his grandchildren Presley, Conner, Sophie, Nyx, Ethan, Irelynn, Abbi, Angela, Macks, Fidds, Annie, Theo. He will be greatly missed by his sister Kim. Predeceased by his parents Donald &Barbara (Borslhak) Gray.
Bob and Elaine met when Bob was driving his powder blue Ford Cougar in Glencoe, and a lifelong relationship blossomed. Bob was a family man. He loved his family deeply and was proud of each one. He loved to play tricks on people, bringing smiles to the faces of many as he was a jokester. He worked at Ford Talbotville for 35 years, following in his father’s footsteps. He had a great love for the Toronto Maple Leaf hockey team and the Detroit Tigers baseball team. He and his dad were often found at a game.
A private Funeral Service was held at Arn Funeral Home Rodney on Wednesday January 14, 2026.
Cremation took place after the service.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society in Bob’s memory appreciated by the family.
