Ray Guerin
Peacefully, with his son by his side, Rejean "Ray" Guerin at the Strathmere Lodge on Friday October 4, 2024 in his 89th year. Reunited with his loving wife Solange (2009). He will be deeply missed by his son John (Angela) and his grandson Aaron (Katie), and united with Ranee (2022).A special Great Grandpa of Paisley and Blake. Ray leaves behind his sisters Michelle and Raymonde. Predeceased by 4 siblings. After his retirement Ray and Solange moved to Ontario, where they enjoyed many years. A kind man, Ray loved his sports. He enjoyed a good game of tennis, baseball, hockey and frisbee. Alzheimer stole his ability to be active in sports, and forever changed his life. He spent his last years with John and Angela, until 6 months ago when he moved to Strathmere Lodge. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating his life Saturday, October 19, 2024 at St Mary's Catholic Church, 128 Main St. West Lorne. Visitation will take place from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment in St Mary's Cemetery, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. Donations in Memory of Ray could be left to the Alzheimer Society by Cheque through the funeral home. Arn Funeral Home 519-762-2416 entrusted with arrangements.
