Raymond Blain

Peacefully at Bluewater Health- Mitton Site on March 18th, 2007, Raymond David Blain of Sarnia, formerly of Forest in his 79th year. Survived by his loving wife Sylvia Blain (Garrett) of Sarnia. Predeceased by his first wife Olga Blain (1979). Loving father to Jeff Blain of Alberta, Scott (Cheryl) Blain of Corunna, Mark (Anita) Blain of Alberta and step children Elizabeth (Ian) Alton of Petrolia, Bill (Gloria) Crevier of Sarnia, Robert (Marc) Crevier of Ottawa, Michelle Finkbeiner of Corunna and Kay (Rob) Vautour of Sarnia. Raymond will be remembered by his 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brother to Don (Francis) Blain of Florida, sister in law Jean Blain of Michigan and brother in law Ross Murney of London. Raymond is also survived by sisters and brothers in law Kay (Jim) Mott of Sarnia, Rex (Marnie) Garrett of Sarnia, Paul and Ann Garrett of Brights Grove, Susan and John MacIntyre of Sarnia, Mike (Wanda) Garrett of Sarnia and Cindy Garrett of Cedar Springs. Raymond will also be remembered by his mother in law, Ivy Garrett. Predeceased by brother Larry Blain and sisters Margaret Murney and Mildred Peters. Visitation will be held at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home in Forest (9 James St. at Watt) on Tuesday, March 20th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 21st, from the Funeral Home at 2pm with Angela MacDonald officiating, Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
