Norman "Victor" Schnekenburger

It is sorrow, we announce the passing of Victor Schnekenburger on Saturday June 27, 2026 in his 85th year.  He leaves behind his wife of almost 61 years, Jean (nee Ellison) Schnekenburger.  Loved by his children, Chris (Marsha), Terry (1967), Lori (2005), Shelley (Tim).  A special grandfather to Ryan, Emma (Austin), Aidan,Cassandra,Liam (Emery), Ashley (Carlo), Ethan (Claire).  Vic is survived by one brother Allan  and two sisters-in-law; Norma and Mary Ellen. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Josephine (nee Trudell) his siblings Hank, Ed, Loretta (Vince), Wilma, Paul, Jimmy, sister-in-law Lee. Survived by many nieces and nephews.  
Victor enjoyed many pleasures in life. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, horse racing, curling, gardening, golfing, the Sunday afternoon drives, and the Blue Jays games. 
Visitation will take place on Thursday July 2, from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Arn Funeral Home Dutton, 193 Shackleton St, Dutton,  where we will then procession to St Mary's Church, 128 Main St. West Lorne where the funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am. Interment in St Mary's Cemetery. Luncheon at the Parish Hall to follow.  
The family appreciates donations in memory of Victor, left to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
