Mona Marie (Pfeifer) Wilkins

Mona Wilkins of Wallacetown passed away peacefully at Ashwood Manor on Sunday March 9, 2025 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Larry Wilkins. Mother of AnnMarie Lilley [Mike], Peter Wilkins [Kim], Joe Wilkins [Allison], Ron Wilkins  [Diana] and Lori Roe.  Grandmother to Shawn Lilley  [Kelsey], Shannon Smith [John], Nick Lunn [Sarah], Stanley Wilkins, Jake Wilkins [Olivia], Taylor Riosa [Steve], Robert  Wilkins[Corinna], Emma Coombs [Mike], Steven Wilkins [Mallori],  Kyle Roe, Chesley Roe and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Joan Varga, Bernie Pfeifer and Evie McCaffery.  Missed by surviving sister Helen Blackburn [Larry], brother Greg Pfeifer [Dorothy], sister-in-law Fran Pfeifer, brother-in-law Leo McCaffery and several nieces and nephews.  Mona was a teacher for several years.  She was a CWL member for 60 years.  She enjoyed paper tole, quilting, crocheting, knitting, playing cards and travelling. But her love for her family and time spent with them was her greatest passion.  Mona was a devoted member of St Helen's Catholic Church. “She was such a great and wonderful woman and carried the cross in her health so well.”

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Arn Funeral  Home 193 Shackleton St Dutton, N0L 1J0 [519-762-2416] Thursday March 13th, 2-4 & 7-9.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday March 14, 2025 at 11:00 in St Mary's Church West Lorne.
