Merle Jean Gibbons
Peacefully, at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, surrounded by the love of her family, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, Merle Jean Gibbons passed away at the age of 84.
Loving and devoted mother of John and Alan (Christine).
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Michael Gibbons, Nicole (Kevin) Moritz, Andrea Gibbons (Joshua Doyle), Lexie Gibbons (Louie Kish),Alana Gibbons, Andrew Gibbons and Aaron Gibbons. Cherished great-grandmother of Riley and Oliver Doyle, Ryker Gibbons and Hunter Kish, Hailey Gibbons
Fifty years ago, Merle bravely embarked on a new chapter of life, immigrating to Canada, where she built a home filled with love, warmth, and resilience.
In accordance with her final wishes, cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be returned to her beloved homeland of England, where she will be laid to rest.
If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
