Suddenly, in Pretoria, South Africa on Saturday, July 1st, 2006. Master Corporal Christopher Michael Fretter, in his 37th year was a Canadian Military Police Officer posted in Pretoria, South Africa. Born in Coventry, England, Chris was a kind, wonderful man who loved and adored his wife, his children and life and was a proud soldier. Lovingly remembered by his wife Alison (Matthiew) and his children Bailey, Cassandra and Jayna. Chris will be sadly missed by his father Keith Fretter and his wife Iris of Rodney and his mother Kathy Fretter of London. Dear brother of Paul and his wife Lisa, and Julie McIntyre and her husband Scott all of London and step brother of Chris, Kristen and Justin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel, 212 Furnival Road, on Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, West Lorne at 1 pm. Father Gillespie celebrant. Interment Rodney cemetery. Parish prayers will be offered by Father Capitano on Tuesday at 2 pm at the funeral home.
