Mary Kathleen (Couse) Jones

Mary Kathleen (Couse) Jones of St. Thomas passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the age of 92. Mary was  born in St Thomas on April 26, 1932, the daughter of Albert and  Ruth (Emery)Couse. She was predeceased by her beloved husband  Lyle (2014). Loving mother of Chuck and Ann Jones, Grimsby, Janet  and Dan McKillop, Dutton, John Jones, St Thomas, Steven Jones,  Fingal, the late Paul Jones, 2011 and daughter-in-law Sandra  Jones, Quesnel, B.C. Devoted Grandmother of Jennifer and Darryl,  Ashley and Justin, Matthew and Marcy, Donna and Arron, Mark and  Meaghan, Adam and Frances, Connor, Aislynn, Jeff, Jeanette,  Peter, Dalton and Kelsey, Erin and her 21 great-grandchildren, her much loved little people. Survived by one of the ten original  "Club Girls", Gerry Smith. Predeceased by her siblings Doris,  Pete, Bill, John, George, Chuck, Norine and in-laws Joe Fellows,  Marjorie Couse and Ed Small, as well as her late husband  Lyle's siblings. Mary enjoyed their many trips to Florida over  several decades, trips to the West stopping at garage sales along the way. She loved to watch figure skating on television and her special shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She was a member  of St. Peter's Anglican Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday  June 26,  at Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton  (519-762-2416) from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be  held Thursday June 27, 2024 at St. Peter's Anglican Church  Lakeview Line Tyrconnell at 1:30 pm. with visitation 1 hour before. Interment in St Peter's  Cemetery.
