Surrounded by her family, Maria Carnim De Matos, Sunday November 2, 2025 at Middlesex Terrace in her 97th year. beloved wife of the late Carlos De Matos (2016). Loving mother of Cidalia Coelho, and Carlos (Amanda) De Matos. Cherished grandmother of Silvia (Nick), Nelson (Kellie), Nathan and Cameron. Great Grandmother of Matthew, Lilli and Lucas. Predeceased by her brothers Jose, Alvaro,Carlos and Antonio, and her son-in-law Armindo.
Marie was born in Mourelos Portugal and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1966 and settled in the West Lorne area. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at Arn Funeral Home Dutton, Thursday November 6, 4:00 - 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary's Church, West Lorne. Interment in St Mary's cemetery. Donations in memory of Maria to Dementia Society appreciated.
