BARKER
At Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville, on Friday, February 17th, 2006, Margaret Elizabeth Barker, formerly of Bothwell, in her 96th year.
Born in Aldborough Township, daughter of Archie and Minnie Long, she is dearly loved by her daughter Eleanor Hack and her husband Mike of Bothwell, daughter in law Cathy Long of Rodney, grandchildren Marie, Brian, Elaine and Maureen; 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Hall Barker (1982), son Elmo (Sam) Long (2000); brothers Harry Long (1974), Hugh Long (1987), Jack Long (2001); sister Flossie Smith (1976); granddaughter Debbie Vallieres (1998) and great grandson Robert (1995)
Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where
a Rebekah Lodge service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Annalee Kerr officiating. Interment Duart Cemetery.
If desired, donations to Babcock C.C.C. or Bothwell United Church would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Padfield Funeral Home, Rodney (519) 785-0810.
