Karen Hewett

On Monday, September 24th, 2007 at Bluewater Health- Norman Site. Karen Elizabeth Hewett of Forest in her 58th year, after a 2 year battle with Glioblastoma. Much loved daughter of Elizabeth Hewett and the late Robert Hewett (1999). Sister to Rev. David and Sheila, Susan, Barbara and Chris and Bill and Janet. Favorite aunt to Eric and Sonya, Olivia, James, Anna and Keith, Nick, Madeline. Great aunt to Grant and Grace. Important things in Karen's life included Taoist Tai Chi, great food and wine, world travel, quilting, Russell the Cat and her many, many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral home (James St. at Watt St.) in Forest on Thursday, September 27th from 7-9 pm with Funeral service to be held at Trinity Anglican Church (Murphy at Michigan) in Sarnia on Friday, September 28th at 11am with the Ven. Richard Salt officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation or the London Regional Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
