June Marilyn (Eberle) Hentz passed away peacefully at Bobier Villa, Dutton, Ontario on Thursday December 9th, 2021 in her 90th year. Daughter of John and Edna Eberle (both predeceased). Married to the late John Hentz (2005). June is survived by her 6 children, Rick (Dawn) Hentz of Wallacetown, Donna Hentz (Patrick Clancy) of Sombra, Kathy (Larry) Small of Wallacetown, Nancy (John )Tolman of St Thomas, Randy Hentz of Wallacetown and Wendy Hentz (Bill Bowsher) of Sombra. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, Vicki (Rob) Stephenson, Denise Hentz (Madison), Karen Littlejohn (Jeff Carmichael), Janet(Eric) Mooney, Terry(Brooke) Small, Connie Kersten, Chris(Jaclyn) Tolman, Stefanie(Brian) Cox, Lisi Hentz, Christy Hentz & 3 step grandchildren. As well June is survived by 16 great grandchilden and her brother Jack (Teresa) Eberle and brother-in-law Peter Hentz. Predeceased by great grand daughter Mekena (2011), sister and brother - in-laws Mary Lumley (2011) , Don Lumley(2005)  & Tina Hentz (2018).

June was born in London Ontario where she lived until the age of 16 when the family moved to Dutton to own and operate a bowling alley. She attended Dutton High School, then worked at the Royal Bank in Dutton until 1953. June & John married in 1952 and established their farming operation which included the poultry business and grain operation. Their children were all involved initially and their two sons, Rick and Randy have continued to farm their legacy operation. In later years June & John spent many winters in Florida and took numerous trips & cruises to various parts of the world. June loved to crochet, knit and was a voracious reader for years and loved her dogs.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of Bobier Villa for their amazing support during her stay.

Due to Covid, a private family service will be held with masks and social distancing required. Donations to West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary, Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
