Joseph (Joe) George Lojzer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on April 4, 2021 after a brief and sudden illness a couple weeks before his 76th birthday. Joe was a professor at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario for 35 years and retired in 2005. He was a devoted teacher, mentor and support to all of his students, family and friends. He was always eager to share his lifelong passions for woodworking, building and fixing anything, archery, sports cars, gas cars, rocketry, nature, knowledge, cooking, wine, coffee and dessert. He was proud of his Croatian-Ukrainian heritage. He leaves behind his wife Dianna, his children Kathy, Chris (Laura) and Teresa (Nick), and their mother Cheryl, his grandchildren Cole, Claire, Luke and Nash, sister Angie, his mothers-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Anastasija, father Dragutin, brother Charlie and sister Jenny. Joe touched so many hearts and will be missed by all. We will love you forever. Rest easy Joey. We’re going to be ok.
