It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Robert Sabo, at the age of 63, on February 18th, 2025. Rob worked at Ford Motor Company in Talbotville for 30 years, where he made many lifelong friends. After retiring, Rob opened a family business - Team Sabo Custom Embroidery. He spent his free time doing what he did best - being a grandpa to Wyatt, Ellie, and Kenley. They adored him and loved spending time with him out in his garage. He will be deeply missed by them but will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Rob also spent many days and nights driving around with his wife Tami to St. Thomas and London to help the homeless population. He would often deliver food and supplies to those in need. It was never a shock to see him out at a restaurant paying for a meal for someone and sitting down just to have a conversation. He never hesitated to help anyone who needed it.
Forever missing Rob is his wife of over 40 years Tami, his son Shawn and daughter-in-law Cate, his daughter Cassidy and son-in-law Jeremy alongside their 3 children Wyatt, Ellie, and Kenley, as well as his daughter Cooper, son-in-law Stephen and their expected baby in March 2025.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to The Grace Cafe in St. Thomas - a street mission and soup kitchen.
