It is with great sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of John Wright, at Newbury hospital on Friday July 24th, 2026 in his 89th year. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Aldred) Wright. Dearly loved by his children Keith (Alison) and Sarah (Glenn). Survived by his sister Jennifer Lyall. Predeceased by his son Kevin (1994), grandchildren Claire, Jacob and William, brother Trevor Wright and brother-in-law Edward "Joseph" Lyall. John is survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Steve and Catharine Bell, and, Bill and Jackie Lidster.
John had a love for tinkering, old tractors and cars.
