John Simpson Obituary

SIMPSON
Peacefully, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, August 3rd, 2007. John Charles Simpson of St. Thomas in his 63rd year. John was a carpenter and a member of the Wood Carver's Association of St. Thomas.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Mary (Mills), his children Joanne Drapier (Pat) of St. Thomas, Lloyd Mills of London, Christine Filby (Blake) of Blenheim, Conrad Simpson (Carol) of St. Thomas, Shirley Hazen of St. Thomas, Maria Grant (Kevin) of Cambridge and daughter in law Kim Hazen of London. John will be sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear son of Margaret Cavener (Doug) of Lavigne, Ont., brother Jim Simpson (Pat) and step sister Evie all of West Lorne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sons Ralphie Simpson and Jim Hazen, daughter Kimberley Hazen, father Ralph Simpson, step father Donald Tunks and brother Joseph.
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main St. on Sunday, August 5th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Monday at 2 pm. Rev. N. Schlarbaum officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery.
