John Hansi Schoenberger

  We are sad to announce the passing of our dear brother and  brother-in-law, John (Hansi) Schoenberger on June 29, 2024 at the  age of 73.  John worked at Buttingers until the factory closed, and then he worked for  many years at Erie Flooring as a  security guard.  John loved to take  long walks and chat with the many people he met along the way in  his hometown of West Lorne. He is predeceased by is parents, Eva  and Josef Schoenberger.  John is survived by his siblings Jack  (Marianne)Schoenberger, Anna Hornung, Karl Schoenberger, Andy  Schoenberger and Rose (Alex) Adamovich as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 5, 2024 at St Mary's Church in West Lorne at 11:00 am with visitation 10:00 am until time of service.   Interment in St Mary's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations  may be made to St Mary's Church, 128 Main St. West Lorne.
