John William Robertson

It is with great sorrow and sadness the family of John Robertson  announce his passing, at his home in West Lorne, on Monday July 13, 2026.John was 70 years old, the life long best friend and husband of  Bonnie Robertson .Dearly loved, and greatly missed by his  children, Steven (Janine), Elizabeth. A wonderful Grandpa to Nick, Robert, JC, Dale, Myrah, Scardy. John was predeceased by his parents Herb Robertson, and Donna (nee Parker) Robertson, and  his sister Karen. John is survived and will be missed by his sisters Cheryl Ann, Susan (Tom), and his  brother Scott.  John was a very special Uncle to his many nieces  and nephews. He will be missed by his many friends, but  especially by his best friends Eric & Jill Straberger, with whom  he shared many laughs, fly fishing and camping. Life was all about his family, his grandchildren and his great love for fly fishing and camping. He loved these times with his family and his friends.   He had a great passion for coffee, peanut butter, and fedora's.
There will be a Celebration of Life to remember John, to share  stories, and to find comfort in one another, which will be held at the Fish and Game Club on Monday July 20, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers please buy a tree and plant it  in John's memory.
