At University Hospital, London, on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, John Perger of West Lorne in his 86th year.
Born in Windsor, he was a veteran of WW11 and a respected member of the West Lorne Legion. A son of Conrad and Margaret Perger, he was predeceased by brothers Martin, Alex, Ken, Lou, and Joe; sisters Annie and Elsie.
Lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Alma (Pettit); sons Jack (Bonnie) of London and Gary (Linda) of Dutton.
Dear grandfather to Tammy (Leonard) Bryant, Chris Perger and Jessica Perger all of London, Cindy Hetherington of Watford and Wendy (Scott) McEvoy of Amherstburg. Dear great grandpa to Steven, Ty, Kim and Katie.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main Street, West Lorne on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where service will be held on Friday at 11 am with Pastor S. Patterson officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
