Jessie Donalda (Rowe) Lunn

With sadness in our hearts the family of Jessie Donalda (Rowe) Lunn announce her passing on Monday March 30th, 2020 in her 90th year. Jessie was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Lunn (March 30, 1988). Loved mother of Ross & June (Carroll) Lunn, David & Cheryl (Albright) Lunn, Aubrey & Elaine (Reid) Lunn.  Loving Grandma of Monique & Roger Hadash, Shannon & Tim Simmons, Marlene & Jeremy Giles, Sandra Duwyn,  Jason & Laura Lunn,  Shawn & Carrie-Anne Lunn, Darryl & Cathy Lunn, Duane & Marilyn Lunn, Gavin & Dana Lunn. Beloved great grandmother of 18 and great great grandma of 1.

Jessie is survived by one sister Vera Lampman and sisters in law Louie Lackey, Shirley Lunn  She is predeceased by brother Bill Rowe and sisters Shirley Stafford, Marguarite Hardy, Jean Hull, Patricia Harris,

Jessie was the daughter of the late John & Mary Rowe. She was a hard working farmer’s wife working the fields and growing her large garden of strawberries and raspberries.  Later she pursued her dream of helping others and worked many years at the Bobier Home as an RNA.  She and Raymond travelled with their small trailer to many parts of Ontario and western Canada. She loved to sew, mending anything that needed a fix,  or quilting. She lived her last years at Caledonia TWO in Dutton and enjoyed the evening social time of cards or watching a Blue Jays game. 

There will be no visitation and a celebration of Jessie’s life will be on a later date.
