Janet Catherine (Paton) Ripley

Janet Catherine Ripley (nee Paton), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of West Lorne, Ontario passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on 19 June 2020, age 67 years. She is survived by her loving sons, Benjamin, John (Sheriel) and Jeffery (Ana). Janet was a proud grandma to twin grandsons, Tristan and Aiden. She is predeceased by her loving husband Ronald and her parents Lloyd and Flossie (nee Lilley). She is also survived by her siblings Sharon (Jim), David (Jeanette), Faye (Frank), Richard (Cobi), Teresa (Brian), Danny, and Brian.

Janet was dedicated to her family and Christian faith and was a woman who enjoyed living life, laughter, baking, making a home, fellowship with family and friends, and spoiling her grandkids. She enjoyed travelling and riding with her husband on their motorcycle. She was a music enthusiast and was known to try her hand making beautiful music with the autoharp and the fiddle. Janet will always be remembered for her kind smile and generous hospitality.

Much appreciation goes to the health care community who supported Janet through this journey. A graveside funeral service is planned for a limited gathering of family and friends at Cowal-McBride Cemetery on Thursday, 25 June at 2:00 pm. A larger celebration of Janet’s life will be planned for a later date. Arn Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
