James "Jim" Panther Obituary

Peacefully at L.H. S. C. Victoria Campus, London on Saturday May 2, 2026, James "Jim" Panther of West Lorne in his 83rd year has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Leaving behind his loving wife and life partner of 60 years, Beth Panther. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Laura. A special Grandpa to Mackenzie Elizabeth and James Jordan, Bella Masie Lyn (Rebecca), Cyle Raymond Mark Panther. Survived by his sisters Lyn Germaine (Leo) and Lea Bailey (Tom).  Predeceased by his parents James and Stella (nee Fulkerson) brother Mark, and his only son Douglas (2025) Jim and Beth were married 60 years, and together they built a life in the West Lorne area, raising their two children, and then enjoying the grandchildren when they came along.  Jim drove truck most of his working life, but he enjoyed reading about history and how things were accomplished and what took place years ago.  His favorite song was "In the Garden" and he loved to sing it

At this time there will be no service or visitation. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later time.

In memory of Jim donations may be left to the Alzheimer Society or Four Counties Health Care Services, and appreciated by the family.
