LAIRD
Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, Jack Edward Laird of Bobier Villa, Dutton, formerly of Rodney and Kitchener, in his 71st year. Jack was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Kitchener.
Predeceased by his wife Betty (2005) and parents Ian (1952) and Helen (1993). Beloved brother of Bill and his wife Alice of West Lorne. Special uncle of Debbie Laird, Cindy and her husband Lorne Van Breda, Kim and her husband Jeff Utley and great nieces Lindsay Attridge, Casaundra and Chelsey Van Breda and Vanessa and Victoria Utley. Stepfather of Evan and Darlene, Leslee and Don, Dwayne and Sherri. Also survived by several cousins.
Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm., Pastor S. Patterson officiating. Interment Rodney Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Bobier Villa or Diabetes Research would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Padfield Funeral Homes (519 785-0810).
