Peacefully at his residence early December 14, 2020 Harry Merks of Dutton in his 86th Year. Beloved husband for 57 yrs of Wilma. Dear father of Bill & Marianne Merks, Chris Ford, Peter Merks & Heather, Harriet & Jeff Merks-Greenwood, Tom & Tracy Merks. Special grandfather of Toni [Mario Mikac] ,late Willy [1993], Krista Ford [Steve Futter], Laurie [Micheal Smyth], Kathryn, Trevor Merks, Colin, David Greenwood, Kassandra, Sabrina, Edward Merks. Greatly loved great grandfather of Anna & Mateo Mikac, Liam & Emmett Futter, Noah Smyth. Predeceased by his sisters Jean Dortmans, Leen, and Ann. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family service will be held at Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton [519-762-2416]. Interment in St Helen's Cemetery. Donations in memory of Harry to the West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary - Cancer or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the Arn Funeral Home. Arn Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
