Grace (Lyons) Vowel

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Grace Ialene (Lyons) Vowel. Grace passed away on Oct. 20, 2021, at the age of 90, a resident of Bobier Villa in Dutton where she had spent the past 9 yrs. of her life. Grace will be remembered by her family and friends who have fond memories of her loving kindness, generosity, and hard work. Caring for others was a lifelong attribute where she fulfilled her ambition by nursing at the former Bobier Home for 26 yrs. Married to John (Jack) Vowel of Dutton for 74 yrs.  Mother of  Marion Binks (Allan) of Rodney and David (Bonnie) of Dutton. Remembered by her Grandchildren, Lori (Pete) Penner of Tillsonburg, Jonathan (Karen) Binks of Lucan, Justin (Hattie) Binks of Burlington, Jason Vowel (Deborah) of Dutton Dunwich, Kristie Vowel of St. Thomas. Survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Dear friend of Yvonne Jewell. Predeceased by sister Helene (Lyons)( Mills) Lampman. The care provided by the staff at Bobier Villa was above and beyond and so very much appreciated. A private family service will be held on Mon. Oct. 25, 2021.
