Georgina "June" (Andrews) Hodder

  Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Georgina "June" Hodder (Andrews) of Dunwich Township,in her 73rd year, at  Four Counties Health Centre on Monday October 30. June leaves  behind her best friend and husband of 53 years, Bob Hodder.  Loving mother of Rob, Joe [Aimee], Lisa [Bryan], and a very  special Grandmother to Kinley, Joaquim, Remy, Raven, Seth, Jed,  Sam and Farah. Dear sister-in-law of Joan [Ken], Dianne [Herb],  Sandra [Jim], Dick [Wendy], and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents John and Georgia "June" Andrews, and  her brother John. June loved her cats, her many flowers & gardens, was an avid reader and enjoyed being a school teacher for many years. She remained at home  as long as she could, surrounded with the love of Bob, her cats,  her rocking chair, her family and her home. June was a member of  the Dunwich United Church and every night she would make sure she had read her daily Bible reading, and recorded in her journal  the activities of the day. The family would like to express a  very heartfelt thank you to the staff at Newbury Health Centre  and to Rev. Richard Golden for his kind and comforting words to  June before her passing. In lieu of flowers, the family would  appreciate donations in memory of June to the Dunwich United  Church or  The West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary - Cancer.  A  Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
