Obituary
Gabriel Fodor, 95, went peacefully to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was the beloved husband to Jean, father to Ruth Tiffin (James), Nancy Curley (Rick), Nelson Fodor (Cynthia), and grandfather to Alaura Lavoie (Nathan), Anna, Erin, Jack, Gabe, Magnum, Estee, Josie and Amelia. He was brother to the late Louis Fodor (Frances), late Emil Fodor (late Rosemary), Leslie Fodor (Joyce), late Esther Wiley (late Bernard), Margaret Fodor and Irene Herbert (David). Born in Hungary on December 8, 1927, he was son of the late Louis Fodor and late Esther Fodor (nee Komaromi). As a long-time farmer and resident of Dutton-Dunwich, Gabe will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends, and his loving church communities.
Visitation will be held at Arn Funeral Home, Dutton, on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 6:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:30pm, with interment to follow at Shedden Cemetery and a time of fellowship at the Iona Hall following the graveside service.
The family of Gabe wish to thank the community of Maple City Residence, Chatham and Chris Jorgensen, for their care, compassion and friendship.
