Frederick John Small, aged 79, passed away far too soon in a tragic farm vehicle accident on July 29, 2024.
Beloved partner of Bonnie Jean Lackey, loving father of Lisa (Brian) Van Brenk, Teresa (James) Murray, Darryl (Jessica) Small and Robert (Charlotte) Lackey. Amazing Papa to Finn, Dane, Val, Vera, Megan, Calvin, Waylon, Vernon and dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Fred is survived by the mother of his children, Louise Small, his sister Eleanor (Allan) Carmichael and predeceased by his sister, Beverly (Dave) Hepburn and his parents, George and Gertrude (nee Ford) Small.
Born February 13, 1945, Fred was born, raised and spent his entire life working on the family farm. Fred enjoyed camping, vacationing and spending time with his family and friends and cheering on his grandchildren in hockey.
All are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life that will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Dutton-Dunwich Community Centre from 6 - 9pm. Service begins at 6:30pm, refreshments to follow.
