At her residence, Saturday January 16, 2021 Darlene Atherton of St Thomas in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert [Bob] Atherton. Dear mother of Allan Bernardi [Linda] of St Thomas, Robin of Mississauga, David [Sandra] of Michigan, Karyn Fernandes [Lincoln] of Etobicoke, Dawn Atherton-Murphy [William] of St Thomas, Richard [Bonnie] of Elliot Lake Randy [Teena] of Ameliasburgh, Kathy Spencer [John] of Eganville, Robert of Belleville. Dear grandmother to Nicole, Louis, Drake,Chris, Bobbi-lynn, Matt, Isaac, Bella, Ryan, Lindsey,Clay, Isiah,Courtney, Casey , Chloe Caryn, Mason, Richard Jr, Amanda, Ash,Tyler, Megan, R.J. and Zach. Predeceased by Grandchildren Jordan and Nathan. Great grandmother of 20. Darlene had a great love for anything crafty and could turn her hand to quilting, sewing, knitting, cross stitching and other crafts to name a few. Donations in memory of Darlene may be left to the Alzheimer Society. Due to the present Covid 19 Pandemic, a Celebration of Life in honour of Darlene will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
