Bessie Marie (McBrayne) Lyons

 Bessie (nee McBrayne) of Dutton, ON. passed away peacefully at  home surrounded by her daughters, as was her wish, on Thursday,  July 11, 2019, in her 90th year.
Beloved mother of Susan and Ken Loveland, Rosemary and Bob Leitch, all of Wallacetown, Linda and Bryce Smith, Donna and Joe  Mylrea, Luci Lyons and Emil Langelaan all of Dutton,  Elizabeth  Wood and Bill Hay of London. Beloved Grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 19 great  grandchildren. Sister of Pat and Jim Ford of Dutton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews . Predeceased by her husband Harold, son Robert (Louie) and twins Betty Jean and Charles Robert. Her parents Linton and Stella McBrayne, sisters Mary  Addley, Norma McBrayne, and her brother Douglas McBrayne. Bessie was an avid Blue Jays fan, even catching a foul ball while keeping score! She was an active member of the community,  including bowling, cards, quilting, bingo and Caledonia “gopher”, a past member of the Order of Eastern Star, lifelong  member of Dutton United Church, UCW and choir.
Relatives and friends will be received at Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton [519-762-2416] on Sunday July 14 for  visitation from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 15 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment in Tyrconnell  Cemetery. Donations to Dunwich United Church or West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary- Cancer Division would be appreciated by the  family.
