 We are saddened to announce the passing of Arlene Rose  [Auckland] Van Colen on April 8, 2020 in her 78th year.  Arlene  was born in St Thomas October 17, 1942 to Ernest and Jeanette  Auckland.  She is the sister of Jeanne Minhinnick and other  siblings.  Arlene is the dear wife of  Robert[Bob] Van Colen of 58 years.   Beloved mom of twins Deborah Stunden and Diane [Carl]  Kelly.  Adored Grandma of Andrew, Stacey, Derek and Adam.  Great  Grandmother to Logan and Lillian.  Arlene lived a full and  wonderful life.  She was an inspiration to her family.  Arlene  was an avid farmer, and although small she was mighty. Arlene  enjoyed country music and fishing. But most of all she had an  endless love for her family who will miss and love her everyday.
The family would like to thank the staff in the Cardiac Department of University Hospital.  A procession will commence at Arn Funeral Home to Cowal-McBride cemetery Saturday April 11, 2020,  where a private family interment will take place.  A Celebration  of Life will take place at a later date.
