Anthony Harold Brown "Tony" passed away peacefully at the Bobier Villa Retirement Home on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in his 89th year. Tony was born in England on January 4, 1937, son of the late Harold and Margaret Brown of England. Predeceased by his brother Michael and nephew David Brown. Survived by a nephew Anthony Brown and sister-in-law Pauline Brown both of England.
Tony received his Electrical certificate in England in 1955 and moved to Canada April 17th, 1957 and resided in the Dutton area, since 1972. Tony was an Industrial Electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local 120 for 61 years in London. Since his retirement Tony loved golfing, not missing a day from opening to closing of the season, weather permitting.
He will be sadly missed by neighbours and friends of the Dutton area, along with his golfing friends from Dutton and Wardsville. Donations can be made to the Bobier Villa Retirement Home or the West Elgin Community Health Centre.
A special Thanks to all the staff at Bobier Villa for their wonderful support over his last years there. The kindness, smiles, hugs and laughter made his stay enjoyable.
Visitation will be held at Arn Funeral Home Dutton on Thursday November 13, at 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. A light lunch will follow the service. Private burial will take place at a later time.
