Ann Margaret Campbell

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ann Margaret Campbell on Sunday September 26, 2021 at LHSC Victoria Campus London, Ontario in her 92nd year. Ann was born September 22, 1930 to J. Douglas and Alda Campbell at Cowal.  She was the youngest of four children.  She was predeceased by her sister Katherine, and her brothers Archie T. and John and her sister in law Elaine.  Ann will be fondly remembered by her sister in law Ruth Campbell as well as her nieces and nephews, Margaret (Don) May, Grant (Karen) Campbell, Jean (Paul)Sullivan, John R. Campbell and Janice Campbell.  Also remembered by great nieces and great nephews and their children.Ann began teaching Kindergarten near Komoka and spent the majority of her career teaching in London-- mostly at Mountsfield and Trafalgar public schools.  She loved singing and crafting with children as well as sharing her love of reading. Ann loved to travel and spent a sabbatical year travelling the world. She was a long- time member of Delta Kappa Gamma and enjoyed the friendships formed there.  Following her retirement from teaching she was an active volunteer at Victoria Hospital in the tuck shop.  Ann was a long- time member and Sunday School teacher of Knox Presbyterian Church, Dutton. Later in life, she was an elder and valued member of Westmount Presbyterian church and a leader in the Friendship group there. Ann will be remembered by the residents at InSpirit Residence.

We extend a special thank you to the dedicated staff at InSpirit Residence in London for their care of Ann over the past few years.

Friends and neighbours are invited to a funeral service at the Cowal McBride on Friday October 1, 2021  at 2 pm. Memorial donations to Cancer Lymphoma Society would be appreciated by the family.
