Alice Shirley

Alice M. Shirley (MacDonald) of RR#3 Watford passed away at Watford Quality Care on Saturday September 29, 2007 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband of nearly 65 years Albert G. Shirley (2006). Dear mother of Robert and Margaret of London, John at home, Donald and Jane of Strathroy and Donald's former wife Dawn Lambert. Grandmother of Kathryn, Alison and Sean, Adam and Ashley, Evan, David. Predeceased by one sister Florence Thurston (2000) and one brother Andrew (1927). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Alice will also be remembered by those whose lives she touched in her ten years as an elementary teacher and twenty years as leader of a ladies bible study group at Faith Baptist Church, Watford. Friends may call at the Harper Funeral Home 232 Warwick Street, Watford on Tuesday October 2, 2007 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am. Rev. Steve Males officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Brooke Township. Pallbearers were Sean McBurney, Kathryn Shirley, Adam Shirley, Evan Shirley, Dave Shirley and Jim McLean.
