Peacefully at St Thomas Elgin General Hospital Tuesday June 26, 2018 Alice Plain of Iona Station.  Alice was born April 5, 1924 in Dunwich Township.  Beloved wife of the late Allan Plain [1998].  Loved mother of Bob and Mardy Plain, Port Stanley and Karen and Hardy Collard, Frome.  Dearly loved Grandmother of Steven Collard, Vicky Plain [Doug Wall], Andrew Plain [Ruth], Wes Collard [Christine].  Great Grandmother of Coral, Delta, Kira, Emmit , Shepard Collard, Maya, Landon Wall, Blake, Brielle, A.J. Plain, Will,  Cameron, Harrison Collard.  Survived by sister-in-law Irene Fryer.  Predeceased by her parents George and Isabel Percival, and siblings Don [Betty] Percival, Marion Dicker, Keith [Ruth] Percival, Ken [Maureen] Percival, and sister-in-law Leona Plain. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Alice was a school teacher, her last 21 years  were at Southwold Public School. Alice belonged to the Retired Teachers Association, The Kensington Club, Lawrence Station Hall Committee and was a member of the Frome United Church.  She was an avid golfer and card player. Relatives and friends will be  received at the Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St Dutton 519-762-2416 Friday 2-4 and 7-9 where the funeral service will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Cowal-McBride Cemetery.  Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be left at www.arnfuneralhome.ca
