Obituary

Katherine Alma Campbell of London, passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre on Thursday October 31 in her 98th year.  Loving sister and best friend of Ann Campbell, Sister of John Campbell and the late Archie T. Campbell. Sister in law of Ruth Campbell and the late Elaine Campbell.  Remembered fondly by Margaret (Don) May, Grant (Karen) Campbell, Jean (Paul) Sullivan, John R. Campbell and Janice Campbell.  Also remembered by great nieces and great nephews and their children.
Katherine was born and raised in Cowal, eldest daughter of J. Douglas Campbell and Alda (McCallum) Campbell.  She started her career as a school teacher, and after ten years  moved on to administrative positions at Supertest, BP Oil, and later at Fanshawe College in the Registrar's Office, where she retired in 1987. Katherine was a member, and Sunday School teacher of Knox Presbyterian Church, Dutton and later Westmount Presbyterian Church. She was a valued volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in London for many years. Katherine will be remembered by the residents at InSpirit in London.  Friends and neighbours will be received at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St. Dutton 519-762-2416 beginning at 1:30, 2 hours before the funeral service at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Interment in Cowal-McBride Cemetery. Memorial donations to Westmount Presbyterian Church or the Cancer Society are appreciated by the family. We are thankful for the care she received at Inspirit Residence and at London Health Sciences Centre.
