Florence Leona (Leitch) McWilliam passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in her 95th year. She was the daughter of Archie D. Leitch and Minnie (Campbell) Leitch. She is survived by her loving husband Norman Angus McWilliam, and her son Bruce Norman McWilliam and his wife Lynn of Oakville, Ontario. Also survived by her granddaughter Blythe Jill McWilliam of Victoria B.C. Predeceased by her brothers St.Clair Campbell (Lila), Dugald, Donald (Annie), Robert (Audrey), Norman (Jeanne), sister Maribelle McWilliam (Stuart) and brother-in-law Donald McWilliam. Also survived by sister-in-law Ella McWilliam. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Florence was a life-long member of Duff Presbyterian Church, Largie and was active in the Women’s Missionary Society and Ladies’ Aid. She was also a member of the Adah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also worked with the Women’s Association of the Wallacetown Fair Board. Florence was a life-long member of the Largie community where, after retiring from teaching, she farmed with her husband Norman until six years ago when she and Norman moved to the Viva Retirement Community in Mississauga. Relatives and friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St., Dutton, 519-762-2416 on Tuesday April 17th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Arn Funeral Home on Wednesday April 18th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Dutton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Duff Presbyterian Church (Largie) or the charity of your choice.
