Edith Elizabeth (Haworts) Pickering

At the Strathmere Lodge, Tuesday October 16 , with family by her side, Edith Elizabeth Pickering in her 81st year.  Dear wife of the late Rodney.  Dear sister-in-law of Derek and Beryl Pickering of Dutton.  Aunt of Craig Pickering and Karen Timmermans.  Great Aunt of Ashley, Justin, Amy, Jordan and Faith. Edith,  "Betty"  lived a full life.  She worked a number of years at Fanshawe College in the Administration Department.  She was a secretary for the Grenadier Guards Association, and secretary for the British Sports Car Club.    Betty enjoyed many cruises throughout her lifetime.  There will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Interment in England.  Donations in her memory kindly made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
